Its a lovely Saturday afternoon and Andrew and I are in the westernized city of Bangkok for the weekend before heading off to Italy monday night for my brother Kanyun's wedding. We are very excited!!!! Good food, good friends and good family are coming our way.
Some of the things we are looking forward to in Bangkok include eating Mexican food, really good sushi, pretzels, staying out past curfew, fast internet speed, smooth roads, clean streets, and a whole myriad of other western-like experiences.
We are also safe and well after the events of last week and have been, we just couldn't communicate so with no internet access. More hopefully to come in the future depending on internet access since blogspot has been banned in Myanmar and will be very hard to access once the internet is back up. We hope to keep adding to it but it may be much more sporadic. Take care!
